CRUISES
DUNA BELLA DAYTIME CRUISE PLEASE ask me for your free reservation! Duna Bella is a daytime sightseeing cruise on the Danube. The boat tour departs from the center of Budapest. During the trip you are guided by the two parts of the city as "Buda" and "Pest" are telling you their fabulous stories about the charming curiosities along the river. This dialogue ends at Margaret Island, where you have the possibility to participate in a one hour walking tour. (To skip Margaret Island tour: stay on board! The ship stops only for 5 minutes. Those who are walking, will return with the next boat.) Following the island break the boat turns towards the town again, but the show is not over yet. The final 15 minutes is full of surprises! DANUBE LEGEND EVENING CRUISE PLEASE ask me for your free reservation! Danube Legend is an evening sightseeing cruise on the river Danube, combined with a sound and vision show. The boat departs from the center of Budapest and makes an hour round trip in the city. While you are enchanted by the illuminated sights, famous Hungarian historical personalities, kings, queens, poets, inventors even the Danube tells you legendary stories about the town. Through TV screens - hanged everywhere on board - you will be able to look behind the walls of the buildings passing by, to admire the hidden interiors. The program ends with the Blue Danube waltz which will whisper in your ears anytime you will remember the tour. Folklore show
FOLKLORE SHOW PLEASE ask me for your free reservation! The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble , the Danube Folk Ensemble and Rajkó Folk Ensemble are three of the best Hungarian folk ensembles with the longest tradition (the first one was formed in 1951, and the second one in 1957), which have performances all around the country and abroad. All the three of the Ensembles consist of 30 artists. Their choreographies are based on authentic dances. Some of them were collected in isolated villages and date back hundreds of years. Through the performed dances you can get a broad view of the music, dance and costume heritage of Hungary and the Hungarian inhabited areas. MORE INFO
St. Stephen Basilica
ORGAN CONCERT in ST STEPHEN BASILICA PLEASE ask me for your free reservation! The 100 year-old church, one of the most important icons of Budapest gives home to this grandiose series that will sure to move you, if you consider yourself a fan of the classics. Indulge in a 70 minute performance by celebrated Hungarian organ artist Miklós Teleki and his small ensemble of an award winning opera singer Kolos Kováts and a talented flute artist from the Danube Symphonic Orchestra Eleonora Krusic. The Basilica, named after the first king and state founder of Hungary, is the largest building of Budapest, a holy sanctuary in which a concert experience takes on a whole new, spiritual meaning.
