DINNER CRUISES

PLEASE ask me for your free reservation!

(at 19,00 and 22,00h)
Budapest is said to be the only real Danube capital. No doubt, the river which flows right through its heart, the illuminated bridges at night, the Parliament building and the Royal Palace give Budapest an unparalleled atmosphere. We would like to invite you to see the Danube capital in the romantic atmosphere of a dinner by candlelight surrounded by the friendly lights of the Danube capital.
After the end of the performance in the Duna Palota (Danube Palace) or the Budai Vigado, our hostesses will accompany you to the Kossuth Museum-Ship built in 1913. There you can visit the exhibition, which will give you an overview of the history of navigation in Hungary in the 20th century. (Did you know that some of the submarines of the Austro-Hungarian Royal Navy were built in Budapest until 1918?). The exhibition was prepared by the State Transport Museum of Budapest. Nowadays, besides the exhibition, the ship also houses the elegant “Vénhajó” Restaurant.

Following the visit to the museum-ship you will be welcomed on board of one of our air-conditioned ships, which will take you on a one-hour-long cruise with an excellent warm buffet-dinner. In the romantic candlelight atmosphere you can enjoy the wonderful view of the city swimming in light. After dinner you can also admire the panorama from the open upper deck of the ship.
On Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, when the Hungarian folk dance performance takes place in the Budai Vigado, the program starts with the cruise and dinner, and finishes with the visit to the exhibition on the Kossuth Museum-Ship. The end of the tour is there, on the Pest side of the Danube. On request our hostesses can call a taxi for you at the end of the tour. You can book the DINNER & CRUISE with a visit to the Kossuth Museum-Ship separately from the Hungarian folk dance performance or the Danube Concert, too. In that case, when booking your tickets, you will be informed about which place to come to at 21.30: to the Duna Palota (Danube Palace, Zrínyi utca 5.) or the Budai Vigado (Corvin tér 8.).
The DINNER & CRUISE program is also available without dinner. If you book a cruise only with drinks, you can enjoy the beautiful night panorama over a glass of champagne and another glass of soft drink, wine or beer.

ORGAN CONCERT in St. ANNE CHURCH

PLEASE ask me for your free reservation!

The St. Anne Church makes home for our organ-concert series. The St. Anne Church is one of the most beautiful baroque buildings of Budapest. The construction of the church started in 1740, according to the plans of Kristóf Hamon, and was completed by Mátyás Nepauer in 1761. In the next 200 years the church suffered from wars, floods and earthquakes, even it was planned to be demolished, owing to the construction of the metro network. Fortunately this plan was not realised, and the church was reconstructed between 1970-1984.

The programme of the concert was adapted for the organ of this church by Gábor Lehotka, professor of the Academy of Music in Budapest. Anasztázia Bednarik, Miklós Teleki and László Attila Almásy regularly give concerts in Hungary, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Ticket prices:

Adult: 7800 HUF / 6300 HUF/ 4500 HUF
