Get away from the noisy, bustling metropolis and chill out in the quaint little town of Szentendre! The charming, baroque artists' village of Szentendre is only a 30minutes drive from the capital. It has a very special architecture and atmosphere due the great number of Serbian refuges settling here in the 17th century. It also used to be the home of hundreds of artists at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. It is well known for its charming colorful houses, narrow cobblestoned streets and patios, antique shops, art museums and small cafés. During the tour you will have the chance to walk around he charming old town, visit one of the still remaining Serbian Orthodox churches, the world famous ceramic museum of Margit Kovács and find out about a unique Hungarian treat, the marzipan. This tour can only be a tour by minivan and it is a half day (4hrs) tour. It may be combined with any other half day tours, so then it would be a full day.
